Tasker House 1998 onwards
A addition to a 1940s house and seperate design studo in Auckland for an Industrial Designer , photographer and his family
The open plan additions encapulate the original house and link to the stand alone sudio over a bridged pond
Large eaves and materials provide the 1940s referances as well as shelter in the sub tropical climate . The exterior joinery is all in timber featuring large sliding doors to provide an indoor outdoor life style flowing to layered decks
The Architect and the Designer have a history of
collaberation which extended into this project

Moran House 2000
A new house on a steep seaward facing site which required designing with in varous height control and boundary restrictions applicable to the site
Resolved to capiture the inlet views to the east as well as sun.
An industrial material pallette with commercial type exterior claddings and exposed concrete elements to the interior
