Cubana Apartments 

Winner of 2010 NZIA Regional Residential Architecture – Multiple Housing Award

Citation: Cubana stands apart from other multi-residential projects as it seeks to engage directly with Cuba Street, drawing on the rich palette of materials and ‘architectural moves’ the street offers. Proportionally appropriate, the plan has been teased out of it’s narrow site and the structure sits back from the street in a comfortable relationship with existing building lines. Spaces are quirky and non-conformist and the architect has provided outdoor living areas with clever levels of privacy. It is graffiti architecture – grungy and streetwise – and makes no apologies for this

Citation: Materials and colour have been skilfully translated from Cuba Street into an apartment complex that clearly references it’s gritty

 

Perry Apartment

Architects Own Apartment in Victora Street Wellington. Moving glass screens provide flexibe living spaces to the living,dining,kitchen,main bedroom and bathroom.

French Apartments

We have completed five  apartments in the south of france in the coastal village of Collioure .

3 Apartments were formed in the top floor and  then empty loft of a circa 200 year old town house located in the ancient  town just  50 metres from the Mediterranean

The lower apartments are white walled and morern while the loft is querky. Natural stone walls and timbers remain with modern kitchen and finishes inserted

Citation : This relatively large hotel and apartment complex maintains its heritage setting while confidently asserting its contemporary identity. Skilful street-front insertions, housing boutique retailers, sit happily with old buildings and are complemented by a pair of well-resolved and highly modulated towers that sit modestly back from the street edge. This is a generous project that provides public facilities and connections, and revitalises and enhances its urban setting. 

 

Ridderford Street Apartments 

 

The existing 2 level building in wellington required sisemic updating , the building was totally renovated with an addional level added, with cladding.

The interiors reflect the age of the building
